This is our independently vetted list of French Bulldog breeders who have met our criteria for health testing and transparency, including verifiable public OFA certifications for breed recommended health tests (hips, patellas, cardiac, eyes.).
We focus on ethics and health, awarding a "Verified" seal only after confirming compliance via a combination of public databases or documentation provided by the Breeder themselves, such as such as Preliminary OFA certifications or spine reports.

This list is a public directory of French Bulldogs with "normal" OFA health screenings, focusing on males using OFA's links and breeder tools, such as the Vertical Pedigree, to aid in pedigree reseach, to reduce genetic risks.
Information on this page was source from a combination of public domain as well as contributions from individual breeders about their French Bulldog that may or may not be on the OFA public database, such as "Preliminary" certifications.
This list complements the FBDFA Verified Breeder List, focusing on individual dogs rather than breeders.

This report is on the French Bulldog Club of America's (FBDCA) public referrals, the AKC-recognized parent club. We add our independent verification notes (e.g., "Partial Verification" if records are incomplete or not public). All info is sourced from their site at https://frenchbulldogclub.org/breeders/.
This helps highlight where FBDCA-listed breeders align (or don't) with their club's own stated policy for referral and public health transparency standards.
How to Be Added to Our Verified Lists

At the French Bulldog Foundation of America, we believe in transparency and verifiability of those we list on site.
Verification Levels:
We realize that not all OFA results are visible to the public, for various reasons:
- Preliminary Certifications: these were performed between 12-23 months and the owner did not authorize OFA to release hip or elbow results if abnormal. Because of this, OFA will not relese NORMAL results to the public. Breeders can provide these results themselves by sharing their OFA certification.
- Results are Abnormal: OFA automatically will not post abnormal results UNLESS the owner authorizes release.
- Spine tests: this is a CLOSED database. The only way you'll see these results is if the breeder shares them.
- No tests were performed.
Full Verification
It is important that any listing must be verified as having performed the minimum health test requiremens set forth by the AKC and OFA for French Bulldogs on BOTH parents of any litter(s):
- Hip or PennHip
- Patella
- Basic Cardiac
- Eye Examination
Breeder’s who qualify, and wish to be added to the list may apply using the online application link below. You can add copies of certifications that are not available to the public or provide links to your certified French Bulldogs.
