One key step is ensuring your Frenchie receives proper health evaluations, such as those from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), PennHip, and Respiratory Function Grading (RFG) for Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS).
We've curated a growing directory of confirmed evaluators to make this process easier for you:
- OFA Evaluators: Our list includes both stationary clinics and mobile veterinarians who are verified to perform OFA certifications for hips, elbows, patellas, and other essential screenings. Search by location to find one near you.
- PennHip and RFG/BOAS Specialists: We also feature evaluators skilled in PennHip assessments for advanced hip dysplasia detection and RFG/BOAS evaluations to address breathing issues common in brachycephalic breeds like Frenchies.

Finding a PennHip Evaluator
Antech Diagnostic Finder Tool
Use this tool, provided by Antech Imaging Services, to locate a PennHIP hospital by searching by the hospital name or by distance from your location.
Note some hospitals may not appear on this list. Hospitals on this list have at least one PennHIP certified veterinarian associated with their location.
